Alpha-Collage

Supplies:

-copy paper
-crayons
-glue
-old magazines
-scissors

Preperation:

-Take 2 pieces of copy paper and cut them in half (doesn’t really matter which orientation)
-Stack the 4 pieces and fold them in half to creat a book.  Staple twice in center to secure.

Directions:

Give child a book and crayons.  Have them draw the letter of your choice on the cover.  Upper and lower case.

Have the child go through magazines and find things that start with the letter on the cover of their book. 

Cut items out and glue into their book.

ALTERNATIVE: for an older or more advanced child, have them add words they find in magazines that start with the letter too.
