Multiply by 6 and others.

Attention getter: Bring in a large insect
(Use plastic insects available at most any stores.)

Lesson: Students find common visual characteristic, which is six legs. Have students model( in groups of 3 or 4) the multiplication problem for (__x 6). Find the answers using the insects.
