Next, the teacher lets the students hear “Canon in D” done by one artist and ask the students:

  1. What feelings does this song convey?
  2. What instruments might help to make to create this feeling?
  3. ;What musical dynamics did you hear? (i.e. loud or soft)

  5. What helped to make these differences?

Lastly, the teacher will play another version on “Canon in D” and then ask the students:

  1. What feelings does this song convey?
  2. What instruments might help to make to create this feeling?
  3. What musical dynamics did you hear? (i.e. loud or soft)
  4. How where they able to make the same song convey different feelings?
