Brag about Bobby Letter

Dear Families:

I am asking that you take a few minutes to let me know about your child. This is your chance to brag. I would like to know what interests you child. And anything else that would help me be a better teacher to your child. Each child is an individual and because you have had many years to learn and discover about your child you are the expert. Please fill me in on your infinite wisdom about you son or daughter so that I can help them learn and become lifelong learners. I look forward to learning about your child.

Thank you for sharing them with me,

Enrichment Night

Dear Families:

We will be having Family Enrichment Night in two weeks. A representative from the Nature Conservatory will be coming to talk with us about her job and her center. She will be bringing several activities for us to participate in as well as a couple of four legged friends. Please plan on attending and bring the entire family, as well as friends! The more the merrier. Mrs. Jones will begin her presentation at 6:30 so get there early to get a good seat! We will be meeting in the cafeteria and refreshments will be provided.

I look forward to see all of you there,

Pillow Night

Dear Families:

It is once again time for Pillow Night. We will be holding Pillow Night on Friday, November 6th at 7:30pm. Please bring your favorite pillow and blanket and your imagination. We will be reading books about Thanksgiving this time and talking about our Thanksgiving traditions. Again we will be meeting in the library near the Fort of Reading!

Science Discovery Days

Dear Families:

Several times throughout the year our class will be having Science Discovery Days. We would like to have several family volunteers to help with the science based activities that we will be planning. We will be having an informational meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 6:30pm. If you think you might be interested please attend this meeting. Attendance at this meeting does not obligate you to help. The meeting will last approximately 45 minutes.

Thank you for your help and I look forward to working with you.

Dear Families

Below is a list of things that we will be using for various projects throughout the year. If you have any of these items and would like to donate them please send them to school with your child. Some of the items can be collected and brought at a later date if necessary. If you are aware of a resource for these items please let me know who I need to contact to get donations.
