Use this flag cake idea to celebrate patriotic holidays (and science)

I have done this cooking project with Pre-K children around Flag Day or July 4th for the past several years.

Bake a rectangle cake, any flavor, according to directions. Have the children help measure, pour, and mix.

Frost with white frosting. To make the flag: Use blueberries for the “star area” and strawberries for the red strips. (The background is already white).

The children love this fun snack and cooking project!
