Genetics News Brief Project Rubric

Prompt: As an assessment for our unit on genetics, you will create a “newly discovered” organism (for example, an ancient monster that roamed the Earth millions of years ago; a marine animal that lives in the depths of the ocean; or even an alien species new to our planet). The information on your imaginary creatures (a male and a female) will be displayed on a poster and will outline your knowledge of genetics. Keep this rubric to turn in with the project. Good luck!
