The Incredible Yuma Bat and Clapper Rail Unit Objectives
These 14 lesson plan subjects (not necessarily in order) include
Literature : Compiling book lists, reading, writing using a Venn Diagram showing the similarities in the Bat and Clapper Rail, book reports, plays, Vocabulary Board Project;
Math will be Classification of the Endangered Bats and Clapper Rail, graphs and histograms about rise in endangered population;
Science the typical migration of the Bats and Clapper Rails, echolocaton, observation and hypothesis
Music learning and writing songs about the Bats and Clapper Rails;
Computers and Internet : research, Powerpoint, and the creation of graphs and histograms.
There is also a small Social Studies and PE component that could be expanded.
