Asia Geography: ABC Book
Directions : You will create an ABC book of an Asian country’s geography. You will select one fact about your country’s geography for each letter of the alphabet (people, places, events, culture, custom, language). You will explain the fact on a page.
Each page must include:
- Letter of the alphabet
- Fact with explanation
- An illustration, poem, or graphic (chart, map, or diagram)
You will be provided with all necessary materials. You will be expected to complete 3-4 letters in class each day. Students who do not complete their required letters will lose daily participation points. If you are absent you must contact me for a plan to make up the work.
ALL books will be due __________________.
Part I:
On the sheet provided, identify the facts you would like to use for each letter of the alphabet. Try to choose things that others may not think of using. To do this you must research a bit and look beyond the obvious. (For example, instead of “G is for Great Wall”, use “G is for Geometry” when speaking of China) There is space to put down more than one idea for each letter.
Also, for each letter, you must decide whether or not you will do an illustration, poem, or graphic.
